The 2026 Sao Paulo Grand Prix weekend is expected to begin with mostly dry conditions before the chance of rain increases for qualifying and Sunday’s race at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, also known as Interlagos.

Friday, November 6, is forecast to be cloudy, with temperatures between 18°C and 25°C and a 30% chance of precipitation. Morning fog is possible, particularly if it rains the day before, and an isolated shower cannot be ruled out. Winds are expected to average 9 km/h, with gusts of up to 30 km/h.

Conditions on Saturday, November 7, could be more unsettled. Temperatures are forecast to range from 15°C to 27°C, with a 50% chance of rain. Showers are considered more likely after 2 p.m. and could continue into the evening. If rain arrives, standing water and localised urban flooding are possible. Gusts could reach 50 km/h.

Sunday’s race is expected to be cool, with temperatures from 13°C to 19°C and a 40% chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms. Winds are forecast to average 15 km/h, with gusts up to 40 km/h. Cloud cover is expected to keep track temperatures near 30°C.

Interlagos has often produced wet-weather races, although last year’s Sao Paulo Grand Prix was held in dry conditions. Lando Norris won for McLaren, ahead of Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen, in a race that also featured Safety Cars and crashes.
